Tutorial · 06 — For admins
Set up your organisation
Add departments, users and roles, and configure the peer types your reviews will use.
3 min read Role · Admin
Step 01
Add your organisation and departments
Everything in Critical 360 is grouped by organisation and, optionally, by department — so you can report on a single team or across the whole body.
Acme Council · departments
| Planning & Regeneration | 12 people |
| Adult Social Care | 28 people |
Step 02
Add users and assign roles
Add people and give each the right role. Roles decide what someone can see — from full administration to simply receiving their own report.
| Name | Department | Role |
|---|---|---|
| Priya Sharma [email protected] | — | Client Admin |
| Alex Morgan [email protected] | Planning | Reviewee |
| Jordan Blake [email protected] | Adult Social Care | Reviewee |
Step 03 · 04
Configure peer types, and you’re ready
Peer types are the relationships your reviews use — they’re what powers the peer-group breakdown on every report. Set them once per organisation.
Peer types · Acme Council
| Self | Self-review |
| Line Manager | Peer group |
| Colleague | Peer group |
| Direct Report | Peer group |
That’s the setup done. With your organisation, people and peer types in place, you’re ready to build a questionnaire and launch your first review.
