01 — The problem

Running 360° reviews usually means wrestling clunky legacy software, hand-rolling spreadsheets, or signing an enterprise HR contract priced far above the job you actually need done.

Critical 360 does one thing, properly — modern peer review that turns candid feedback into real, visible change in how your people work together.

02 — What it does

Everything you need to run 360s properly. Nothing you don't.

01

Outcome-tagged survey templates

Start from the outcome you want — retention, leadership, team health — and we build the questionnaire for it, tuned so the report leads with the insight you're actually after. Or tailor your own from your goals.

02

Reports that tell you what to do

Every report opens with a plain-language summary of the one thing to work on next, an importance-vs-performance priority matrix, and blind-spot analysis — how someone sees themselves versus how their team does.

03

Response-quality safeguards

Built-in checks flag rushed, extreme or outlier responses for your judgement — so a resentful or box-ticking reviewer can't quietly skew the result. Surfaced for fairness, never silently removed.

04

Anonymous peer reviews

Unique reviewer links, save-and-resume, importance-and-actual scoring and a 'don't know / N/A' option — so the feedback you get is honest, complete and safe to give.

05

Automated invitations & reminders

The platform invites reviewers and chases the stragglers on a schedule. Nothing to chase by hand.

06

Multi-period comparison & benchmarking

Run the same review months later and compare side by side, against organisation and top-decile averages — so people can see whether they've moved the needle.

03 — See it in action

The report your people actually read.

Not a wall of averages — a plain-language answer to “what should I work on?”, a priority matrix, the perception gaps worth a conversation, and a quiet fairness check behind the scenes.

04 — How it works

Three steps, start to finish.

01

Invite peers

Reviewees add their colleagues, managers and direct reports. The platform sends the invitations and tracks who's responded.

02

Collect responses

Reviewers complete anonymous, sectioned questionnaires from any device — and can save and come back later.

03

Benchmark & act

Reviewees receive a printable report comparing them to organisation and top-decile averages, ready to act on.

05 — Built for the public sector

Credentials your procurement team will recognise.

We built Critical 360 for councils, NHS trusts and universities first — so compliance, accessibility and data residency are built in, not bolted on.

01 Hosted on Microsoft Azure, UK South region
02 WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility
03 GDPR-compliant by design, with per-organisation data isolation
04 Microsoft Entra ID / single sign-on ready
05 Standard Data Processing Agreement available
06 Comfortable with G-Cloud, dynamic purchasing systems and direct competitive tender

07 — The difference it makes

Feedback isn't the point.
What it changes is.

Done well, 360° feedback is never an HR box-tick. It changes how an organisation works — from the inside out.

01

Retention

People stay where they feel seen. Structured feedback shows staff their growth matters — and gives you the early signal long before good people start looking elsewhere.

02

Healthier teams

Surface the friction and the strengths inside a team, so working relationships improve — not just individual scores on a form.

03

Development that sticks

Replace vague, once-a-year appraisals with specific, benchmarked feedback that people can actually act on.

04

Better leaders

Show managers the gap between how they see themselves and how their teams experience them — the most useful mirror in management.

05

A culture of candour

Safe, anonymous feedback makes honesty normal. That habit is the quiet foundation of a healthy organisation.

06

Clarity across the structure

See where communication, decision-making and accountability really stand across the business — and exactly where to focus.

If you've run 360s before, you already know the difference is in the detail — blind-spot analysis, a priority matrix that says what to fix first, and safeguards that stop a rushed or resentful reviewer skewing the result.

That's what we've built — and what most survey tools skip.

09 — FAQ

The questions buyers actually ask.

Something we haven't covered? Get in touch.

What makes your reports different from a survey tool?

Most tools hand back a wall of averages and leave you to interpret it. Ours opens with a plain-language answer — the one thing to work on, the biggest strength, and any blind spot — then a priority matrix showing what matters most against where someone's falling short, and the gap between how a person sees themselves and how their team sees them. Reports people actually read, and act on.

Is it genuinely anonymous? Will people actually be honest?

Yes — and that's the whole point. Reviewers get their own private link, responses are aggregated by peer group, and any group with a single respondent is merged into an 'Other' group so no individual can ever be identified. That safety is exactly what gets you candid feedback instead of polite box-ticking.

Do we have to design the whole questionnaire ourselves?

No. Start from the outcome you're after — leadership development, retention, team health — and a tuned template builds the questionnaire for you, with the report already pointed at the insight that outcome needs. Prefer something bespoke? Answer a few questions about your goals and we assemble a tailored survey. Everything's editable — you're never staring at a blank page.

How do we know we're getting an accurate reading — and not one skewed by a rushed or disgruntled reviewer?

Every report runs through built-in response-quality checks. They flag the tell-tale patterns of feedback that isn't given in good faith — someone straight-lining the same score down the page, using only the very top or bottom of the scale, or sitting far out from what everyone else said. Those are surfaced to your admin for a human judgement call and never removed automatically, so honest-but-uncomfortable feedback still counts while obvious misuse doesn't quietly distort the result. Paired with importance-vs-actual scoring and strict anonymity, you get a reading you can stand behind.

How quickly can we be up and running?

Days, not months. Critical 360 is a fully built, working platform — there's no software to develop or install. We configure your organisation, you choose or tailor a survey, and you're inviting reviewers, with a first review able to go live within the week.

Is it easy for our people to use?

Reviewers complete a clean, sectioned questionnaire on any device and can save and come back to it. Admins run everything without needing a developer, and the platform invites reviewers and chases the stragglers on a schedule — so nobody's nagging people by hand.

Can we see change over time, and across the whole organisation?

Yes. Run the same review months later and compare side by side to see whether the needle's actually moved, and drill down across departments, sections and peer groups to spot themes and trends — not just one person's score.

Where's our data, and is it secure and GDPR-compliant?

UK-hosted on Microsoft Azure, encrypted in transit and at rest, GDPR-compliant by design with per-organisation data isolation, and we provide a standard Data Processing Agreement. It's built to WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility, and it's Microsoft Entra ID / SSO ready, with an API-first design that connects to your HR and learning systems.

Is this just for the public sector?

Not at all. Councils and NHS trusts trust it with sensitive feedback — which tells you something about the safeguards — but so do businesses, and the HR consultancies who run 360s for their own clients. It's built for any organisation that takes its culture and people's development seriously.

What does it cost, and what support do we get?

A predictable monthly or annual subscription with no upfront capital spend — see the pricing above (prices exclude VAT). You get direct support from the team who actually built the platform, sized to your needs.

We run 360s for our own clients — can we offer it as our own?

Yes. Our partner programme lets HR consultancies and advisers bring Critical 360 to their clients at a growing wholesale discount — keep the relationship, set your own price, and (on the top tier) run it fully white-labelled under your own brand. Talk to us about becoming a partner.
